Residential, Industrial, and Commercial customers follow the same Rate Schedule for our water service. The minimum bill for water is $13.58 a month and includes 2,000 gallons of water. Water consumption between 2,001 – 98,000 gallons a month is billed at the rate of $6.18 per 1,000 gallons. All additional water consumption is $5.18 per 1,000 gallons.

South Blount Utility issues bills on a monthly basis. Net bill will apply if paid on or before date due shown on bill rendered. The Gross, ten percent (10%) higher, will apply if not paid on time.
Our utility office will send a cut-off notice if payment is not received by the date shown on the bill. The customer will have until 5:00 p.m. on the due date to make a payment before a $60.00 late fee is added to his/her account.
In the event it becomes necessary to disconnect service due to nonpayment all outstanding balances including penalties must be paid in full before reconnection will be made.
Any questions, objections, further explanations, or disputes concerning bills rendered by the District may be directed to our customer service staff by telephone or in person during office hours.
In the event a check is returned to our office for insufficient funds, an automatic fee of $17.00 is placed on your bill. If your service is shut off due to non payment an additional $50.00 fee is added to the bill.
